You'll like it in SF till you're walking down the street, unable to get on a bus because although the monthly fare has almost doubled in less than a year, they have cut all the bus lines so they're too packed to ride, and you'll be approached by one of many, many homeless peoples asking for money and food. Which is fine.
However, this one will be different. This one will be very adamant about the fact that although he's hungry, although he has no money, although he's been on the street for years, he will ONLY accept organically-grown food.
And you will pocket the delicious sandwich you offered him, as it's a cold, rainy night, and no one should go hungry, and walk away, with him yelling expletives after you for offering him such dirty, cheap, non-organically-grown food.
Then you will rethink your decision to move there. But, it will be shiny and new for about 2 years, so enjoy it. Try and live on the outskirts and commute in---nicer weather/quieter.
