  Yes, I've seen al those. and yes, in a way rating and polling are the same, although from the user perspective it is different.

  But I'm looking for something that is hosted elsewhere. e.g. by somewhat hacking 99polls.com I was able to load their polling widget into another swf. However, it looks bad and i can't really customize it for my needs. basically, I created this:

  and loaded it into flash MC using loadmovie. But I need to be able to make both layout and more extensivelook and feel customization.
