  I bought some for cove lighting in my place, but they do not change color (they come in different colors).

  Got 'em here: http://www.noveltylights.com/

  They just plugin to a regular wall socket. I think they came in 8' segments.
  Using these in a building we are designing/building for cover lighting in the ceiling and kitchen island. Great stuff, not too expensive.

  Not as snazzy as what you are looking for, I'd guess, but maybe they have something.
