  Why is it difficult to change the layout in Drupal? Don't most of these CMSes just provide hooks into the data and let you create your own layout?

  • it does, but drupal's framework is more coding intensive than say wp. it's harder to strike a balance between functionality and visual design, but it can be done.– armsbottomer1/2
