  By won't cut it I mean: using either html or flash based forms with php upload scripts. From what I understand php uses the http protocal which tends to time out or choke with large files.

  Some people use their own ftp software but from my experience the majority of people can't figure that out. Too confusing for them.

  I have worked with a lot of printers who have the ability to upload large design files right from their site without cracking open an FTP client.
