    The Verve
    Whiskeytown
    The Dismemberment Plan
    Shellac
    Three Mile Pilot
    The Black Heart Procession
    Built to Spill
    Screaming Trees/Mark Lanegan
    Jesus Lizard
    Slowdive
    Shit I could go on and on. Pretty much all the bands put out on Touch and Go, Up/K, SubPop, Matador, Jade Tree records in that decade.
