  I own 3 Sharp notevision projectors
  

  

  They are super small and lightweight.
  1100 Lumens
  DLP (brighter than LCD)

  Each cost me about 800 bucks a bit over 1 year ago

  If I can light up huge venues (see below) with them,
  they are more than qualified for an office.
  

  

  • These days you can Buy HD projectors brand new for 1k– Meeklo1/8

    I've taken it to venues where they have 1500 lumen LCD projectors
    and there were much brighter and 1/3 of the size– Meeklo2/8

    very cool meek, but are you sure about DLP brightness. I have found they have better blacks, but are never brighter than LCDs in the same lumen class.– danthon3/8

    yes, they are more than noticeably brighter and more colorful too! I'm sure they are new ones out, this are over a year old– Meeklo7/8
