Any one do this? I am thinking of getting a big tv for classroom presentations instead of a projector... does anyone have any experience with this? Is the image sharp?

do you think it would be okay for presentations?

I use a DVI to HDMI cable on a 42" LG HDTV from my aging PBG4 with no problems whatsoever. There are probably settings you can tweak on your HDTV to get the colours and contrast acceptable enough. It will never be 100% spot on as per a dedicated monitor, but for presentations its perfect.
