  Is there anyway to stop 10.5 from informing me with the message that I have just d/l something from the internet every-time I try to install a new app. It's getting as bad as Windows.

  when i want to stream quicktime content on my mac i always get the message 'this is not possible because this computer seems to be connected to the internet'.
  is that bloomer coming over from the windows, too?
