  I've met Mike at Big Spaceship a few years ago, after being introduced through a mutual friend. He gave me advice on getting started in web work and animation and all that jazz. Such a stand up, no bullshit dude. He's got some some balls on him to call out the festival process like that, and agency taboot. Knowing the agency pipeline, I'd out money on that entire project, except for the actual shoot itself, coming out of Mike and his team's head.
  Seriously, wtf. If you're going to do these industry recognition shows, which are circle jerks to begin with, why not at least hand the statues and kudos to the people who execute the work. And perhaps not insult them with a "digital production" category.

  exactly ideas are two a penny in my opinion, i'm sure there is an einstein or hitchcock quote to that effect...

  PS Was obviously a wrong move posting this on this thread when it itself more a circle jerk for some bloke who pretends to be rich... i remember when this place was useful I'm sad to say
