The role of the media today and in the near future is not one of informing you on the days events...noooo... media is now evolving into a tool to engage and instigate the masses...and to get people to interject with their own opinions, all while still influencing you subconsciously and getting you to buy more stuff (that you don't need).

oh for god's sakes.. Bloggers suck just as much as major news sources their all opinionated wankers that are only checked and balanced by each other's bitching and moaning about each other. I feel like everytime I read the news I listen to a cynical fuck who's trying to interject why he or she is miserable. :) By the way I never saw the movie for Aqua teen hunger force was that any good?

Broadcast media finds all of it's stories through blogs now anyway. Television reporting is second hand news these days. Plus if someone on the internet reports something that's not factual, someone usually cathes it pretty quick and posts a link to debunk it.
