  I have a Dell 24" as well, prefer the Cinema Display: better colour (Dell black is a bit purple) and better backlight (more even, less glare)... except the Dell is dual-input (which I use often), and can swivel 90 degrees (which I never use).

  at the moment, i think 24" is great. not too big, not too small. just right.

  i know a guy that had two 30" hooked up temporally for a project. fu...HUGE! they took up the hole width of the desk. :-)

  only bad thing about the 23 apple its the 300 dollars extra price tag. compare to the 24" dell ultra sharp. (which you can adjust the height)

  then again, it is what it is, a premium brand. there for the price tag.
