QuarkXPress 8 to target Adobe's Creative Suite this August
http://www.appleinsider.com/arti…
I think related commentary around the Web is going to be like Mac Vs. PC on this one.

Good Luck Quark, maybe they should steal another logo for their new version.

Like the Roman and American Empires before them, Quark just thought they were invincible, unstoppable and immortal.

BREAKING NEWS!
Quark to offer new groundbreaking utilities that have been in Indesign for fucking ages, while also offering shite add-ons to show that its not just desperately trying to modify the programme to resemble a turbo charged nissan micra with a big fucking roof scoop and spolier. Can we still make websites in quark 8? I hope so, such a useful part of the quark package…

Ha ha, "QuarkXPress will deliver more intuitive layout tools and an updated interface designed to" look like InDesign.

Great responses. I kind of want to read the overview again and mark off how many things InDesign currently has (everything).
Good times!
Also, on the site I linked, there are responses from people like "I'm an InDesign (and former Pagemaker) user, but I have no desire to be held hostage by Adobe."
HELD HOSTAGE??? WTFdoes that mean? Is that anything like saying "I'm held hostage to going to nice expensive steakhouses for the best porterhouse steaks; it's a shame Burger King doesn't serve steak."?
