  i went to ICFF yesterday and saw this new [old] innovation of fabrics changing hues with temperature. their site [to me at least is rather dope] they are called Visual Reference Studio. check em out!!

  if i have time today, i will swing by to check it out. ICFF is never as good as Salone del Mobile in Milan so I have been dismissing it for the last few years.

  I had the opportunity of visiting the ICFF on Saturday, I was somewhat disappointed with this years products. I have seen a lot of the same furniture, products and industrial design at last years event. There were only a hand-full of innovative, inspiring and or new products featured at this years event. I would still recommending visiting the ICFF event for possible networking opportunities, to be seen and heard and or to meet some nice and interesting people.

  I went on Saturday also. I've been trying to get there for years and finally made it. Was a bit underwhelmed, mostly since I've seen a lot of the furniture already online. I'd still recommend checking it out and hopefully this will be an annual pilgrimage for me.

  I've always been disappointed by ICFF and that's why I stopped going. But for some reason, I thought this year might be different. But I guess not. Maybe I won't bother going there...

  tk- it really wasnt that innovative. its cool to see the new furniture, but nothing too out there from what you may have seen. today though, you can purchase the furniture if you want as it is the last day of the showing.

  yes, most conventions usually try to sell their goods on the last as it saves them time in breaking down their booths and re-shipping the product back to their warehouses.

  when my company has a booth in a convention we do just that very thing unless its still in progress samples or ideas.

  generally the price of these items are less than retail and slightly more than cost, so its always a win win situation.
