  FJ's are completely overbuilt, amazing amazing engineering. Not so zippy but get it of road and they're eye opening.

  Tark, are you really going to need going off-road?

  • yeah, I'm moving up to the mountains and there will be loads of snow in a few months and I like to go offroad to camp on the weekends. I could get by with a highlander but that wouldn't be as nice. Plus you can't plug in your laptop into the back of it like the FJ– Tark1/4

  as ugly as it may be, can't deny the engineering behind it.
  went to the dallas auto show recently and they had "toyota trials" in the parking lot, basically a rally course setup in the parking lot and you get to have a shot at it in either a tacoma/tundra or the fj. we chose the FJ and at one point, the in dash gadgetry was reading 42 degrees sideways on a slope....
