  Yanks had a pitcher perfect opener last night. Great pitching, defense, and timely hitting. Joba comes in for the hold and Rivera in for the save.

  went to the Padres home opener the other day. Ace performance by Peavy as expected. I don't think they'll make the playoffs though. The NL west is going to be tough this year.

  i'm glad to see detroit lose two to the royals so badly. i have a buddy on the royals, i sent him a text a few minutes ago... "i see the 100 million is paying off for them". haha. detroit has become the new yankees. i never thought i'd hate a team more than the yankees until detroit came along last year/this year.

  Went to opening day on tuesday, holy crap, they pulled out all the stops. Dug up every Boston sports legend available, they had the Stanley Cup, World Series Trophy, the Vince Lombardi Trophy and the NBA trophy in one place for the first time ever...
