was asked to do a mindless update on the drivel on one of our company's webpages.
was specifically asked to 'update the verbiage'
ver·bi·age [vur-bee-ij]
–noun
1. overabundance or superfluity of words, as in writing or speech; wordiness; verbosity.i replaced one paragraph with another. the newer paragraph is longer... haha, [sigh]

Definition:
1. excess of words: an excess of words that add little or nothing to the meaning
2. wording: the style of language in which something is expressed
as they weren't asking me to update the 'style' i'm still going with the original definition... either way it was not the best word choice. but thanks for playing smartass ;p
