Keychain Problem 55 Responses

Just got a new mac mini -because my 6 month old macbook decided to have a sudden motherboard issue - and it seems to be having problems putting passwords in keychain. I enter the info and select "add to keychain" from different programs and it has only saved one or two so far.
Anyone seen this/have any idea how to fix this? Seems like a small problem but I need to save a lot of FTP info and I really don't want to have to look up and enter password info every time I log in.
Thanks,

I literally bought the thing yesterday. I could reformat it and may in fact do that if I ever get my macbook working again. In the mean time, I bought this mini so I can keep working on my projects.
I just got back to using macs 6 months ago and I really like the interface but these technical problems are something else! Makes me wish power computing was still making mac clones. :(
