after over a year of dedicating my life to one person, i've been relieved of my duties. i've been given the pink slip and asked never to return. i didn't see it coming and now i am weighing my (lack of) options. i don't have much to say but i feel like i need to be made fun of and humiliated. i need to be told what a miserable failure i am so i can wallow in self-pity. thank you for humoring me.

i've always thought of myself to be someone who can talk through anything. i've taken pride in solving my friends' problems and in recommending them to be more open. i've gone on and on about how honest communication is the key to everything. yet i wasn't even offered a chance to reason. i am lost and defeated, and i don't even know where it all went wrong.

something along the lines of "i will keep you barely alive until your children are old enough to have hope, at which point i will kill them in front of you" should suffice

(Mar 19 07, 13:49)ha ha ha version5, I was totally just thinking about doing that.
but seriously though, ek. You've apparently got the skills to meet a girl and stay with them for a bit. The odds say you'll do it again and it will be that much better because it will last.
This too shall pass. Hang in there, listen to Sea Change by Beck a few times, then listen to a Motley Crue album and go gettem tiger.

I would to have a conversation with this person, I might be able to resolve the situation.

(Mar 19 07, 13:47)i understand where you're coming from, but IMO if someone doesn't appreciate you for who you are, why would you try to convince them? nobody respects a supplicant :\
emo, i know it's hard now but if someone doesn't want to be with you and dismiss you thus, then F them. you shouldn't have to convince anyone to stay with you.

what JB said is right...a friend of mine meets new women every week on match, if that's what you're going for.
if you just want to meet ppl in general and not under that whole dating umbrella, take your dog to the dog park every day if you have one, or do regular, similar activities. you have to get out there :\
