invisible files on usb key/pen drive 44 Responses

Hi kids,
wondering if one of you brilliant beautiful people can help me out...
I just got a 1gig usb pen drive for my wife but for some reason the files are not showing up but the storage size is down so I know they are there is there any way i can get at them....

not showing up on the machine they were copied from, or when connected to a different machine? what's the OS?

not showing up at all....
were copied as psds and jpgs from Photoshop CS2 on a windows XP and not showing up on mac 10.4.8
the OS wouldnt have any thing to do with it would it as she has got a smaller usb drive that has no problems with...

the os may have something to do with it depending on the file system of the usb drive...

ribit
an ftp program will show the invisible files (if you have set the view prefrences to show invisible files) in a local directory listing.
