By joining the Promise to Children Pledge Program with a monthly gift, you will help ensure that all children are:
NOURISHED ($15 a month can feed three children for almost four weeks)
PROTECTED ($35 can provide 105 blankets for children who've lost their homes during an emergency)
EDUCATED ($50 a month can provide notebooks and pencils for 1,600 children)
IMMUNIZED ($70 a month can provide lifetime vaccinations for some 50 children)

i'm thinking to donate to these poor kids. but can i trust UNICEF thing? comments?- Jan 26, 06, 7:17 p.m. – Permalink

i gave a couple of their gift packages as Xmas presents to my family this year.
if you're concerned about making a purchase with them i can asure you its safe.
some sceptics might argue that a large % of the money gets wasted internally at UNICEF before actually reaching the people in need, but i haven't seen any hard facts to back that up.
