lol you can tell just how Junior this thread is with the ripping on CDs. Not only do CDs normally watch over multiple design project, which means making sure the design and idea is tight, and managing the tudes of many silly young designers...not all have tudes but a lot of them do. The CD is there to take care of the creative on a business end, every website that is created (thats worth a lick) has to have a creative minded person to speak for it to the client, the account team, and anyone else that is not creative, to defend that design or to help push interesting creative forward. It is all also important that the CD does not design stuff because their vision can become bias and may only want to use their designs instead of picking was is best from team of creatives. Now maybe you guys that saying CDs are bums may have bad CDs but being a CD is no easy task. When the multi-million project fails they dont fire the designer they fire the CD. And for the record most CDs have spent many years designing before you got there so now its you turn, there is a lot more to the creative industry than just being a good designer.
