Our production/design studio is looking to reaffirm our existence with a new logo and tagline.
In a nutshell: We are the exclusive, in-house production and design studio for Austin Kelley Advertising in Atlanta, GA. We rely solely on the agency for all of our business. Creatives come to us for layout, illustration, mechanicals, comps, digital file prep, scanning, color copies, etc.
We are separate but equal, enjoying all of the same benefits and hardships that the agency may experience. A permanently attached vendor in a sort of way.
With that said, we are looking for a short and sweet tagline that best describes what we do and who we are.

thanks and let me know.

i like. but i don't think the top brass are going to buy into that one.
the best example of a tagline I ever saw was for the college radio station at Auburn University.
"A rare medium well done."
nice.

I seriously doubt anyone of our copywriters ( with their schedules) would jump at the chance to brand the inhouse studio.
I know I wouldn't. This is kind of an unofficial project on the side gig anyways. Probably won't make a damn bit of difference to our public image. Oh wait, we have no public image.

'not your average dorks in thick black glasses'
'we dress better'
'proving once again computer geeks rule'
'we're better than you'
'our computers can beat up your computers'
'our designers beat up your honor role student'
'our creativity flows like explosive diahrea'
'aligning technology with... er... wait a minute... i thought of another suuper creative idea'
'die designing, or in a rain of hot lead'

well..it is kinda funny, if you look at it from the perspective of:
if the design side of this agency is responsible for all the production work the agency produces..
shouldn't the 'agency' side be responsible for doing this????not that there's anything wrong with ol' bucky coming here and asking for ideas or anything...not at all..
just weird that the agency isn't working on this...
you'd think they'd be a part of it..

nice kona. anything with diahrea in it is a winner.
Buzz words that come to mind for what we do on a daily basis are:
Produce. Refine. Elevate. Quality Control. Service. Reliability. Consistent. Convenient. etc. etc.
How 'bout: "Studio A. Reliability Refined."
Eh?
thanks,

My next topic on the PV-AN will be "How to get to know your Creative department."

i think it's odd too.
But i do sympathise with you folks who are "in-house" esp for Ad Agencies.few suggestions:
1. Making your current line - "We are the no problem, can do, have it to you shortly" shorter and snappier = "No can do, Have to"2. Studio A: The A in Austin Advertising?
3. Studio A -ok?
4. Studio A - The Only Way?
5. Studio A - Needless2Say?
6. The 47 in AK Advertising.
7. A4Always.
8. Trust the A.
9. You can sleep 'cause we don't
10. Tried. True & Trusted.
Yesh. I am bored at the moment.
3.
