Carlos Quitério (b. 1980) lives and works in the Portuguese west coast, in Caldas da Rainha, a calm and peaceful city known for it's ancient hot-springs, land of the Queen since ≈ the 16th century. He has Graphic Design and Fine-arts education, disciplines that allowed him to develop and explore works beyond his pairs. Followed with his passion on merging different mediums, styles and techniques, he approaches illustration work differently from painting and drawing. He has worked for editorial like Flaunt Magazine, The New York Times, and contributes to some of the most important and big magazines and editorials in Portugal. Nike, R.J.Reynolds (Camel), Seat, Ssang Young, Optimus, among others, are also brands that he has made work for.
