After an awesome first day on QBN, I thought I would write what I probably should have written in the first place.
Back Story about my life:
May 9, 2001- I was diagnosed with complete kidney failure. To make a long story short, after nearly loosing, I received a Kidney Transplant from my father and I became a new person.
After finding a new love for life, I soon after met my wonderful wife Lisa, who has an amazing son Sebastian.
On Aug. 7, 2008 my father past away from Suicide. This was another life changing event that made me want to work even harder to accomplish goals that would make my Dad proud of what I'm going to become.
"Design" Story-
First taste of design/creative/media work, was when I was asked to create a DVD commercial video for my wife's family who owns an elderly care home. I had never created a DVD video before, so I was happy for the challenge. After I created what they said was, "An amazing video." They then asked me if I could create a website for them, which I did. http://www.horizonech.com
After these first project went well, I then started to self teach myself Adobe Illustrator, then moved on to having fun with Photoshop, and currently learning DreamWeaver and html.
I really love designing and brining the ideas of myself or others to life. I know that I have a VERY long way to go in the design world, but I have a smile on my face every time I fire up my computer and get to turn a white screen into something cool.
Thanks for reading. I'll post updates as thing change for me (Hopefully in a good way)
