yeah, so i have no experience with this app (yet) but i want to cut the size of this full movie i have to fit it on a cd. i figure if i take off the credits i'll have the room. at any rate, is this a simple task? i have the avi loaded in premiere right now.. is there a simple step to chop off the remainder of the movie from where i stopped it? thanks kiddos.

can anyone recommend some good sofware that can emulate the sounds that were produced on the 8-bit nes or even the 16-bit snes. any info is much appropriated! hehe

i've googled for this a few times, and couldn't get exactly what i was looking for so i thought i'd see if any of you ppl knew of anything like this.

I'm looking for a site that has the most basic food groups listed with the complete nutritional value of each. for instance, it would give the calories, carbs, protien, etc for just one egg. and the same for a slice of white bread, a 3oz steak, etc. Anyone know of anything like this? thanks!

ok, time to put you ppl to the test.

i listen to music through winamp's shoutcast and sometimes i want to record a song while i'm listening to it.

i don't even know how to begin to approach this, so could someone tell me how to do this? special software needed, etc.

i'd prefer the format to be mp3, but i understand it may have to record to one format and then i'll have to convert it later (which i know nothing about either)

so i figured i'd grab a couple of broken powerbooks off of ebay and blow some time taking them apart to try to fix them. here are the fruits of my labor:

this powerbook would boot up but you couldn't see the screen.

i had another that booted up and had a working screen, but the hinges had been broken off completely. you can see the screen from that one hooked up to the powerbook with the non-working screen (or so i thought it was non-working)

when i hooked the screen up, i got the exact same behavior: none! so my deduction was that both lcd's worked fine, but there was an internal problem (probably with the mobo or inverter board or something). at any rate, i took the screen off of the problem powerbook and assembled it to the powerbook which had broken hinges on its screen. putting these together gave me a cosmetically perfect powerbook.... now let's hit the power and see what happens:
