in Safari and Chrome? May 16, 13, 8:56 a.m.
Is there a way to have type blink on a website in Safari and Chrome?
<blink> only works in Firefox.
Blink new Chrome engine Apr 4, 13, 6:28 a.m.
Why is Chrome spawning a new browser engine?
The main reason is that Chromium uses a different multi-process architecture from other WebKit-based browsers.

The WebKit maintainers wouldn't let us attack Apple directly, by changing WebKit in ways that would make it perform badly on OS X and iOS.

Questine about Chrome Feb 24, 13, 6:51 p.m.
I have this weird thing happening on the homepage for my site.
If I scroll up with my mouse (I shouldn't be able to scroll up, it's the top of the page) the page sort of disconnects from the browser and I see this grey background. I can move the site left, right, up or down with my scroll ball. But, it's not actually scrolling, it's moving the page.
It's hard to explain. Imagine it's like the whole page is a layer in photoshop that I'm moving with the move tool, and the grey area is like the transparency behind.
There's no grey background set on my site. It's just white. It's super simple code. Just a two-column responsive layout. A bit of text and some images inside. No floats. Nothing remotely fancy. At first I thought it had something to do with Positioning in CSS. But, all the other pages on the site are using the same structure and css file and they don't have this problem.
Anyone ever run into this? Know how to solve it? I tried Googling around, but I'm having a tough time describing it, as you can plainly see.
chrome font rendering Feb 12, 13, 5:19 a.m.
Chrome is rendering fonts with symbols. I have googled it, but cannot find an easy solution. Can't figure out if its linotype X or if its something else? Has this been discussed or does anyone know of a solution?
Chrome BG image scroll bug? Feb 11, 13, 3:13 p.m.
I've got a page with a background image, with a repeat-x. All looks fine when you open the page. Snippet below.
WHen you scroll the page, the position of the BG image seems to shift by a single pixel - causes a line to appear where I don't want.
You can see there's now a line above the photo...it's actually part of the BG image.
Is this a known bug or is it something I am doing? This doesn't happen in FF, IE. or Safari.
block sendto: in Chrome? Feb 4, 13, 1:09 a.m.

Chrome on a mac Nov 20, 12, 6:31 a.m.
Is awful! I get this error every time I load a page telling me my flash player is out of date. So I go and update it, and of course I keep getting the error and its irritating as hell because it shifts the fucking page every time I go to a new page.
Firefox runs like a turd on my mac, freezing constantly, incredibly slow. Is it possible to access the internet on a mac as well as you can on a PC?
Font freakout in Chrome Nov 14, 12, 8:27 a.m.
Anyone know how this is happening? It only occurs now and then.
Chrome messing up fonts? Nov 13, 12, 11:10 a.m.

Chrome vs. Flash Sep 27, 12, 5 a.m.
Any other chrome users having problems with flash content this week? Updating flash player does nothing!!!
Chrome font problems Sep 11, 12, 6:13 p.m.
Is there any way I can stop this from happening?
So far tried customizing fonts in advanced settings without consistent results.
I'd rather not go back to Safari or Firefox.
Chrome for iPhone/iPad Jul 1, 12, 3:22 a.m.
Iphone: it's good. Has replaced safari (for now). I like unlimited tabs and swiping between tabs is nice.
The address bar doesnt dissapear when you scroll like it does on safari which is a shame but thats somthing they'll more than like add sooner or later . Icon sticks out like a sore thumb on my dock but no big deal.
Pretty good overall.
iPad: GUI seems a little clunky on initial examination with the big black space at the top, might just be something I need to get used to.
Seems ok so far but not used it enough yet...
Thoughts?
chrome flash crashing? Jun 14, 12, 6:35 a.m.
I updated Chrome.... and when I'm doing a typical ADHD browser-method of, like 27 tabs open, my computer gets really slow, then I get an error message "the following plugin is unresponsive: schockwave" .....
Yes, I know... schlockwave, flash sux,etc... but hey, sometimes you need 3 youtube windows...
So... I've tried
http://www.lockergnome.com/media…
and a few others...
Has anyone else had a solution? so far the link above plus adblock has been okay for me.... but I just had a flash crash this morning.. time to get more RAM, be less ADHD.... or maybe there's a magic bullet to stop the flash crash??
alternatives to chrome?? May 27, 12, 1:38 p.m.

Anything else is out there?
