Sad news, I was once quite enamored with their work. Now it seems a bit quaint and ecstasy-fueled when I look back on it, but it did spawn Build, for whom I have quite a lot of respect.
I wonder if Ian became less hands-on involved as time went on, thus leading to the creative downslide. Less than perfect clients are not an excuse for poor design.

I'd like to see a new tDR just like they were at the beginning...
Demands became big, expectations big, account depts grew...
working methods and graphics became standard and common as in a big design company / agency...
(as far as i could notice from reading and checking their work)

I wonder if the written letter of rejection I got from them years ago will be worth anything more than knowing that if they had hired me back then, maybe this never would have happened...
