  nothing like a jpeg image in a file folder.

  I can't help but think this art is threatened by digital downloads. I mean, I buy albums online now and they don't come with any cover art. The only artifact 'memory' I have is of the music. Maybe an interesting track title, etc.

  Anyone have a favorite album cover? Just about any album from Reid Miles for Blue Note especially during the 50-60s. Another favorite is Nothing's Shocking cover.

  the ipod/itunes cover flow thing kinda keeps it alive. I know its not the same but I'm sure people felt the same way back in the day with the transition between vinyl to cassette...
