I am thinking about buying a smaller camera for travel, to avoid carrying my big Canon around all the time.
I have been looking at these three Fuji models.
Anyone have any experiences good or bad with any of these models or have something similar in quality and size that you would recommend instead? I am leaning more towards the x100s mainly due to the size and weight difference between it and the xpro..thanks

Why have you shortlisted down to just Fuji?
Are you wanting something stylish/retro as well as good quality. There's a good camera thread or two kicking about on here.
I'd recommend the Sony NEX series and have a NEX 5N.

x100s has no zoom no interchangeable lens. if I remember correctly.

The Olympus OM-D is a great camera as well. Id pick that over the x100

I would figure out what focal length you shoot first.
x100s 35mm fixed f2.0 vs xpro1 18-55mm f2.8, 18m f2 fixed, 35m f1.4 fixed. 60m f2.4.
I'd buy the x20 for compact

I have te fuji x 100 and love it, such a great looking and functioning camera.
My only complaint is that it doesn't take rapid fire shots like a dslr.
super sharp and is great micro photography.
very creamy soft focus.

i have the x100s. i also have a 5Dii, lumix gf2 and a leica digilux 2. by far, the x100s for its size and great photos. yes, only a fixed lens so really depends on what you shoot; etc. but for travel, great street camera. thinking of selling the 5Dii and just keeping the x100s...its that good. BUT keeping the canon for portraits a la 50 and 80mm lenses i have already. ive shot with the xpro (which is great as well) but x100s is my new generational camera. try it out at a store first and youll see what i mean. again, its that great.

- im surprised you haven't got an xpro1 if you like your x100s so much! trade the 5dmkii for one! :PHombre_Lobo
- yeah debating that too. i just have the lenses already for the 5Dii.AUTOGRAPH

Let's not forget the Fuji X-E1, it uses the same sensor at the XPro 1

These cameras are great. They feel good in your hands, operate well, and are nicely built.
If you're OK with the fixed lens, the X100S is a good choice. Everyone loves it, and it's faster than the X100.
If you need to use interchangeable lenses, the X-E1 or the X-Pro1 are your options. Personally, I'm holding out for the the X-Pro2, as I'd like to benefit from the speed bump. It's rumored to be out later this year.

go for the XE-1. Awesome camera, same guts as the X-Pro. Some idiots complain about the EVF. Yes, it is different but nothing to cry over.
or hold out as mentioned. new models coming soon. http://www.fujirumors.com/

Another vote for XE-1. Had mine for a few months now and couldn't be happier. Great image quality, and nice to have a digital camera that captures the feel of using a film camera.
