Hello !
I have been asked to do an animation in the style of this one : http://bbdo-montreal.com/#/fr/ag…
(click on «Nos Réalisations»)Just to be sure, is Flash the right tool to use or I would need to play/learn with something else ?
Thank yous !

You could use something a lot less sophisticated than after effects for that.
Final Cut Pro, Premiere and flash would work.
fter effects is great though.

AE all the way!!!
...relatively simple animation :]

All depends on what you have more immediate proficiency in. That video/anim can essentially be done in iMovie. But using Flash or AE would work either way.

You could actually do something very close to this in Final Cut seeing that the moves are so simple and 90% of this is a straight-up edit job to save time.

AE although this animation is so simple you could do it in Premiere.

AE FTW! I love animating in Flash but it just doesn't compare to AE. If you know Photoshop, then it really is just figuring out how to use keyframes in AE.

Guys, did you watch that animation? it was the easiest work you could do. Flash is the way for this. I love AE to death, but you wouldn't need to learn if for flashing a few logos to a soundtrack.
Just please put a sound button on your work always. I don't want to have to hear generic techno.

Also, Don't bother learning Final Cut or Premiere. The only thing those can do that After Effects can't do better is capture video from a device.
And with any camera that records onto a card, you don't even need that.

AE is nice but better for short comps, using both AE and Prem together is a good way to go
- how long are you talking exactly? not sure why you feel that waymcmillions
