You have a magic wand, you have the power to recreate the Middle East however you see fit, what do you do?
1) Expel all Jews, send them back to Europe or to the US or wherever and give all of Israel back to the Palestinians. Anti-Zionists would love this including Jewish Anti-Zionist groups like Neturei Karta.
Does this finally bring peace? do the Arabs all now get along?2) Expel all Palestinians, Create single state of Israel as the scriptures promised, fundamentalist Jews and Christians have a wank-fest awaiting the promised Rapture or Messiah.
3) Create a single state, Call it Palestine-Israel or whatever and have equal representation and power sharing like what Lebanon does. People are free to visit temples and religious sites whenever they want to. Extremist groups on both sides are outlawed.
4) Create a single Secular state, Call it Philistia, religion is seen as a backwater and destructive relic of the past and is outlawed. Education and employment is guaranteed to all, Country is officially bi-lingual.
5) do nothing, keep going with how things are and hope for the best.
