Hey gang,
HOSTING!!!
My current host http://rebel.com/ (Canadian) just informed me that they'll be discontinuing the VPS server packages that I've JUST migrated over to...
*sigh*
...SOOO, what are all using?
I. I'm looking for a VPS (or something similar) as I host 20+ sites with varying needs; my own 5+ and than new and ungoing clients.
II. Cost is of course is the most important factor; the rebel hosting was about $75-$100 / month which I could justify AND the speed / specs were perfect.
Thanks in advance for all relevant AND irrelevant content.
Ya'll are my/the original Reddit.

You need to host it on shrooms. Fungal networks are the future.

Digital Ocean + Serverpilot.
Get a Digital Ocean droplet in the TO datacentre. The one I use is $24US/month, but get what you need. It's easy to start small and bump up as your needs increase.
Serverpilot is going to run the thing for you and provide your control panel. The basic plan is enough, $5US/month plus $0.50/site. If you're feeling spendy you can go with the business plan that gives you some pretty nice reporting and metrics on the performance.
This setup doesn't provide email though. I've just started looking at MXRoute for client email. It looks promising but I haven't tried it yet.
