Anyone using both (accessing the same files, either NAS or via hub+external ssd drives)?
My 3D business is winding down and I no longer need everything to be PC (no idea why Autodesk never made a Mac version of 3DSMax), but I do need 1 PC.
I need a computer for photo editing and have been eyeing the Mac Studio.

My experience: Searching windows networks from a Mac is pretty shit without 3rd party tools but otherwise it’s just like any other file server.

Why not to get a PC for photo editing?
I've got PC's, 3, and a Mac mini, accesing files on a Synergy NAS, via Lan network, no problemo. But I don't get why you need another machine outside the Windows ecosystem...
