    I just bought the:

PHILIPS 5500 Series Fully Automatic Espresso Machine - LatteGo Milk System, Integrated Grinder, 20 Hot & Iced Coffee Pre-Sets, Quick Start, SilentBrew, 15-Bar Pressure, Black Chrome (EP5544/94)

I can't say I am fully impressed just yet. It's pretty good, but honestly I do not think it is worth the price. Still testing.

    What do you got?

I had one of these for ~9 years before it gave up on me, tried a whole bunch of others but ended up buying the same one again.

Sold by Oster as 'Prima Latte' and by Mr. Coffee as 'Cafe Barista', possibly available under other brands.

What's good about it: Little to go wrong - you tamp the grounds, press a button and walk away. There's no counting out the seconds during a pull, there's no standing around frothing the milk. You push a button after a small amount of prep, and you get a delicious espresso/cappuccino/latte. But it's not completely automatic. I've got snobby friends with $1000+ machines and it seems they are always breaking in some way. I think mine is the right balance - not completely manual, but not much to go wrong

What went wrong in 9 years: I had to buy new portafilters a few times as they gradually clog. We do maybe 5 double espressos every day in the household, and I think I bought a new filter 2 times, so ~5000 coffees before replacing. After 9 years the pump quit on it - maybe an electrical fault as it died all of a sudden.

I got mine with a burr grinder as a packaged set. 11years without issue. https://www.oster.ca/on/demandwa…
I don't grind super fine as the espresso maker can't produce enough pressure for that.

I also have a Mokka pot, which is a whole other experience, but makes a nice cup of coffee and is great for taking camping.
