Dutch identity card

  Hi!

  A very simple question for Dutch people, is this format of card valid?

  I have to do tests of validation on a shop and it's refusing me this format of 2 letters + 6 numbers or letters + 1 number.

  As from your profile you are German, this means your pasport will work in anyway in The Netherlands. A dutch VAT number is using only numbers which makes it different from yours, but i don't see the problem since it will accept a german passport as well.

  Thanks for your help. From what I see, the VAT is made up of 9 numbers, and no letters, am I right?
