First time building brand guidelines in Figma. Right now I have sections set up as separate pages. Should I have them all on one artboard instead? What’s the best way to do it? Will also need to be able to export the entire thing as a pdf which doesn’t seem to be super easy with individual pages.
Any ideas? Any examples of guidelines you’ve seen built in Figma?

Being honest ... I am not sure that is the best tool for a direct PDF export. Tons of easier applications for that. That being said, FIGMA is really strong for "live" displays. For instance, taking your static PDF and adding animations, interaction clicks, etc.

Yeah Figma’s not my first choice for doing brand guidelines but my company’s COO and web and app teams prefer it. Definitely not the ideal way to do this but it seems like it can be done and fairly well. Just a bit of a learning curve.

Check design systems in community. Now you can add sections to pages within any document... I usually do an index with hyperlinks, and pages with sections for every different component / element.

ONE page, with lots of artboards/frames, select all, export PDF
- Plenty of examples in the Community tab...grafician
- Careful with the size of the final PDF, Figma exports HUGE PDF filesgrafician
