Hi guys,
I need to make a lot (72) super-precise comp images of packaging that hasn't been printed yet.
Does anyone use a 2d flat package illustrator file to 3d comp image app?
- or -
Is there a plugin for Illustrator?
Am I just wishing something exists that doesn't?
I await any and all snarky comments, and hopefully one that will actually help.
- Thanks in advance

- Thanks, these are the ones I found on google as well. Have you used any of these? Are any better than the others?timeless
- I haven't used them sorry, in the past I did animated mockups in Cinema 4D.PhanLo
- Never used these, but what little I've done 2D to 3D visualization I used Cinema 4D because it can read AI files, so you could update and C4D would too.evilpeacock
- I'm gonna say I think these are probably better, or at least easier to use.evilpeacock

First this:
Then this:
TLDR:
Once you set up a scene you are happy with, simply update texture maps and re-render still frames, or if you are doing video, you can often render only the texture pass (diffuse) and replace that in your composite. Rendering just the texture can be done with very low samples and will render extremely fast so you aren't melting your CPU re-rendering 70 different videos.- Why discuss on QBN...do you think this is a design site or something? ;)BusterBoy
