I got stuff done in China (drawer boxes 2@ 1000 units). Nothing too crazy amazing, and didn’t have a huge amount of control over the paperstock etc, but it worked out pretty well. Shipping was slow boat (boat to US, the Fedex from CA to NY), and cost about $400 for 11(?) pretty big boxes. I got samples made up beforehand, from my dielines and that including FedEx was about $120 for 2 pieces (2 sizes)
Maybe overkill for what you need, but I was surprised at how inexpensive it all was and how quickly it arrived post fabrication (~45 days?)
- when was this, before the pandemic?Beeswax
- No. They actually just arrived a couple of weeks agohardhat
- Artwork to supplier ~Jun 5. Print & assembly: 14th (ready for checking. Balance $$ clearing. Shipped 22nd. Cleared US customs early Aug. Delivered 12th Aughardhat
- There was a bit of back and forth re artwork, prices, samples etc. Sluggishness was more on client end than supplier.hardhat

Hey all, I have a project for upcoming holiday season.
I need a cardboard box(not corrugated) with offset printing on it.I got some quotes from China but the shipping rates and timelines are crazy.
I'm thinking working with US suppliers might be less of a headache if the costs are similar now.I'll need 3000 to 5000 units, so just looking for small to medium workshops in Canada, US, Mexico...
