I know it’s easy to find the latest thinking on any particular topic but it feels to me that so many people who write on design use the same basic voice to write. It’s so vanilla.
I’m interested in: who are the most eloquent writers on design? Or, which articles, essays books on design have the best prose, the most beautiful language?

If you haven't read The Elements of Typographic Style - it's a treat. Beautifully written, which makes sense given Bringhurst is also a well respected poet.
