PS Bevel technique

Any ideas on how to get this look? Lots of nice details that I can't figure out:
The bevels have multiple colours in them... where PS only offers 2 colours. Can't get very close. There's a reflecting kind of colourful oil slick / chrome look to it that is far more complex than PS basic bevels. Maybe it's a curve thing? Or am I missing something?

Looks like there are two layers with bevels/gradient-strokes that are interacting via a difference/exclusion blend. Play around with that, it might get you close.

Maybe this was done in 3D, not Photoshop.

- I put a colour gradient on the stroke and set both highlight and shadow on the bevel to difference with some contrasting colours.monNom
- The oily look of the fill is two gradients interacting in difference mode. Super easy to animate I'd imagine.monNom
- thanks for taking time out to do this. looks super close - will give it a try!inteliboy
- My pleasure! I wanted to figure it out once you asked --it's a cool effect.monNom

@intelliboy Based on the corners gonna say it's not a real bevel so probably not 3D... It might be Eye Candy's bevel as that software points to a reference "reflection" image when it creates it's "chrome" effect that would give you the reflections your seeing.
