This is kind of a random question, but does anyone have any experience or knowledge with tube counters or any sort of counter that surveys vehicle counts on a road?
I have a private dirt road where the easement means people using the road have to pay proportionate to the usage and want to use one of these devices to get the count.
Any ideas on brands or whatever? I know jack shit about this.
I'd say rhat'd be a gov't contractor job, so I second that knowing js.
Reach out NY ITT. Get a student to build one.
"traffic counter" + rent
- Then divide tally by 2 to get accurate number. Because front/back tires will result in 2 button presses.shapesalad
- And what of the car is going at an angle? i think this is whty road counters here in Britain have two 'lengths' to account for complexity.Nairn
- ok, use two hoses, two counters and M A T H S to work it out.shapesalad
