i'm using this on a web project but want to get the toggles to position:fix above the content. i know it's possible because i've done it before, but stupidly didn't save the CSS modifications because i am a fucking idiot.
anyway i can't get it to work now ( the beta/test framework is previewed here http://colinsmith.art/projects/s… ), and if anyone is bored and can figure out the world's dumbest problem i'll buy you a drink
(i have tried: position:fixed in header, in the individual toggles and in the overlay, but i'm just not fluent enough in how this is all working in order to figure out why the position:fixed breaks everything to all hell when i put it in there)
Show an example of what you want
- what i have, but with the toggle links staying in place instead of scrolling. any fixed navigation layout - qbn is an examplecolin_s
- as far as i can tell, the pikabu viewport is position:relative, which i think fucks with the position:fixed in the CSS for the toggles, i just don't know thefixcolin_s
You have to add
position: fixed; to header element
Why it is not fixed is not caused of other element position tags.
It is caused because:
.pikabu-viewport has following css. If you remove this it will work as you like. I didn't investigate what animation is missing when this is being removed.
Also make sure you remove all prefixes if you decide to delete this code.
I didn't check github so I am not sure what you are workin gexactly. However if you can modify html layout just move this fixed nav part outside of .pikabu-viewport and it should work good. Remember position fixed element height is not considered by other elements.
dpi thanks that did exactly what i wanted. if you have venmo or paypal i owe you that drink!
