hey guys,
I'm trying to find an old music video (from 2000-2010 I'd guess) that features a DJ that has a mecha and fights another mecha
his white mecha weapon is a keyboard-guitar that has a place to fit a vinyl disc into it
he fights a black/red mecha in the desert
he has an assistant that sits in space on a space station ship, she has pink hair
I remember loving this animation, saw it the other day on a retrowave party here in SF, but I don't remember the name or how to find it
it had a very cool 3d cel shading / anime style
it has a bunch of 80's references, including a scene where he calls his lamborgini, it comes to pick him up on 2 wheels and he just jumps on it and open the door while it's on 2 wheels, much like that kung fury short movie
there is also a scene where he runs over a bunch of robot police with helmets with a red screen, and there is a slow motion shot of one of them smashing the red glass into the car
the only clue I had, while watching it at the party, was that their logo is a K10K, with the second K flipped horizontally, kind of forming a mecha helmet design
I also remember thinking "oh, k10k lol" but it has nothing to do with the k10k website we all used to love
can anyone save me?
thanks!

it's something like this
but more chill music right? I think the actual video is just cuts from retro anime movies?

no, none of these!
the main character was very thin, black hair, he was wearing marine clothing for some reason, as if he were a captain
by the way, it wasn't japanese at all, it was either American or European, more likely european

Not the video you were looking for (but it should be :P )
The scenes were taken from Redline, one of the most underrated pieces of anime ever created.
- Redline is freakin' great!evilpeacock
- Oh yeah - this is a sick anime - so intenseantimotion
