Decisions decisions. I've got 3 months left of my annual (paid monthly) plan of £50 per month
Adobe have a sale on - £30 per month!! Bargain!
Do I just cancel/ pay out my plan and pay less rent forever?
I guess my question to you lot is, does £30 stay £30, or does it go up after a year or something?
I think that's for 1 year and will go up, usually is, although haven't looked at offer.
But I've never paid full price just by moaning and threatening to leave to customer support. I'm on that priceish now for the full suite.
Mine went up 30% after a year, so...
bugger. Cool, thanks for the warning. You just saved me 3hrs of wading through Ts & Cs!
In the end it is still cheaper, £100 though, to cancel and get a new supscription.
fuck adobe and their shitty rental scam
Decent timing for me. I used to just use my work adobe cc account at home, but since getting let go... its time to re-up.
I think https://affinity.serif.com/en-us… is missing out on a great opportunity to sell theirs as a "suite".
Maybe $120 / year or something digestible that will shame Adobe / force them to rethink their pricing structure.
I guess the draw is the "one time" payment structure rather than SaaS / monthly "raping".
