If you were going to build a presentation with good fluid animations and transitions, background video, everything very fluid and seamless, and you WERE NOT going to use Keynote or Power Point, what would you use to do this?
Think infographics created in After Effects that transition in, unfold and change on key press, synced with text transitions, etc.
We’re trying to decide on the best way to create a highly engaging presentation for a conference that needs to go way beyond the standard static deck most people might create.
No idea, but you just described stuff Keynote can do. That'd be a series of AE made movie files playing on a click event.
AE movie controlled with vlc remote that's what I do.
I truly hate these lame presentation tools especially prezi and pp.
As far as AE, how resource intensive do you expect that is vs. a m ore standard application like PPT or Keynote?
Presentation will be running off a laptop, can't utilize WiFi.
