Do any of you have resources or articles about how to properly storyboard motion graphics, and, more specifically, screen animations and rich media on scrolling web pages?
Trying to wrap my head around the sketching / concepting and detailing transitions, animations, movement, fades, etc. that would go into this type of work.
Any suggestions?

pretty good article here:
https://www.creativebloq.com/web…" When it comes to animating user interfaces on a project, communication between designers and developers tends to break down if they aren't working side by side. In companies where animation deliverables are 'thrown over the fence' to developers, sometimes designs are handed down as animated GIFs or videos, with little else to guide the developers when recreating them...."

I rough out animation frames in traditional software and page through them with descriptions.
- I too would be interested in seeing documentation on the matter.monospaced

I seem to remember a free App that could be used for timing out animatics into a movie, I'll look it out. I just use AE and photoshop.

You could make the animations in AE so there's no confusion as to what the final result should be and use this to pass off specs to the devs: https://google.github.io/inspect…
That's google's internal tool for spec'ing out animations.
