Is it still possible to get the flash application anywhere? I had to wipe my machine so I no longer have it, but now I need it to update an old project. Googled it and dont see anything.
^ How would that work. This is an old project built using AS2.
- Have no idea, but I presume it still opens flash files and exports swfshapesalad
- Ill give it a shot. I had no idea it still supported all this old stuff.CygnusZero4
- Some things don't work in the newer versions, I still use CS6, have a copy somewhere if you need it.PhanLo
If you have Creative Cloud menubar app on Mac, just go to the app in the app tab / list, go to Animate CC, then to the right you'll see an arrow. click that and a drop down will appear, select 'other versions'. CS6 will support AS2.
Im on PC. Animate doesnt support anything made with AS2. Im really trying to avoid downloading a cracked copy of an older version but maybe I dont have a choice. What a pain in the ass this is.
They have it on CC
I'm no hexpert but I do a bit of work with a company that develops a Flash-based app (derp). The app uses AS3 extensively and from what I understand, Animate is next to useless for them.
