To all the lucky dads out there. Enjoy your day.
nice one, thanks!
Thank you. I got a hat!
It was a good day.
Thanks! it was one for the books - Father of 3.5 year old twin sons, 1 sweet 9 year old boxer, and husband to an amazing wife.
• Started out waking up early (shouldn't have had those last 2 beers at 2am), Prospect Park to let our dog run and check out all the other dogs enjoying exercise and freedom.
• 7th Ave street fair with bounce houses and slides the kids were crazy over
• BBQ pork and corn on the cob in the backyard while the kids played at the water table.
Could hardly ask for a better day with the family. I love being a dad.
My father was a pisspoor one and still is. I'm happy for the lot of you but generally speaking, screw fathers day.
Used to hate fathers day growing up but I had the best one ever.
Was allowed to sleep in (after being woken up at 6:45 to ask if I wanted to sleep in and he was hungry!)
My GF got some pressies from my son and he really put the thought into it. So some fabric, iron gall ink and a hand written story nearly moved me in tears. So proud to be his dad.
My ex is a narcissist so its such a wonderful clarification to know it is not rubbing off on him.
Nothing on earth beats a hug and kiss from a child that loves you.
I had a great day as well. Like mugwart, my wife let me sleep in while she took the 6:30am shift with the baby. I woke up to hot coffee and a breakfast sandwich from our deli.
We hired a nanny to start in July, but my wife had her come in for 5 hours so we could go to a movie and a nice brunch, child-free. It was glorious.
