Expensive, but considering the amount of injures to my hand playing rugby, this one fitted the best for me.
- Also it's not the best looking mouse it the world and I don't use all the buttons either!stickupkid
- I recently dug out my [very] old mx1000 (precursor to this) to use at home. Shit for gaming, but like a Cadillac for general micery.detritus
- Compared to the cheap one I have ^ the buttons are still horizontal on the < logictech. It's having the buttons angled vertically that really stops the carpal.shapesalad
- when you look at your wrist while sat at computer, you want the top of your wrist rotated and facing away from you - natural position, not horizontal facing up.shapesalad
- if your wrist/lower arm is facing the ceiling, then you've rotated it, and are now squeezing all the tendons and nerves running thru your wrist / carpal tunnelshapesalad
- love these, but they only last me a year, went through 2GuyFawkes

i got one of these a few weeks ago, a bit of an adjustment, but doesn't bother now when i use the scroll wheel and wrist feels better.
- pretty much same as the cheap CSL one I linked to ^. Probably made in the same factory.shapesalad
- same but cheaper https://www.amazon.c…shapesalad
- same exact one i got and i feel 100% better... and awkward use of vertical mouse is over and feels comfortableslinky
- ya missed those previous posts, my bad.BabySnakes

Logitech Performance MX and 570 trackball.
Only caveat is their complete lack of customer service. They will crap out on you at some point, and you will get no help from them. Mine last about 2 years.
Looks like they're half-price on Amazon rn.
- I've had several logitechs and they seem to work for years and years for memonospaced
- I tend to break just about everything I use somehow. Killed the left click switch in two of these. Gotta stop sending emails with passion.garbage
- My mobile one must be going on 10+ years and works flawlessly. I think I put one AA in there every few years.formed

Just went to Amazon and ordered the Anker vertical mouse since yesterday I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. Feels like I have no hands.
Hope this thing works and is easy to get used to.
Was gonna get the Adesso imouse e10 at staples this morning but wasn't 100% sure it was compatible with osx and had heard a lot of positive reviews on the Anker mouse.
- they look almost identical. Probably from same factory. the scroll wheel is same component.shapesalad
- Mac doesn't support extra buttons beyond the left/right clicks. but will otherwise work.shapesalad
- after 1 week you'll be used to it and notice the difference.shapesalad

I've liked my wireless Logitech's, esp the expensive mobile one.
https://www.logitech.com/en-us/p…
(that's not the one I have, looks like it's a newer version, but the one I have has worked for many yeas flawlessly, usb slips inside it, etc.).
Good value: https://www.logitech.com/en-us/p…
Tempted to try MS Surface mouse:
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/p…- just bought this one, like it so far : https://www.logitech…Bennn
- you still rotate wrist to use those horizontal buttons = carpal injuryshapesalad
- I like it threenudes

You can adjust the length to fit your hand.
There's extra parts so you can change the palm rest and the pinky rest to match your hand.
They provide weights you can add or substract to adjust the feel. It's on a teflon base so it glides really well.
It's built for gaming so it's indestructible... etc.

less than £10 / $10
Side buttons I couldn't set up on Mac.
Scroll is cheap and clogs up.It's cheap. Looks a bit dorky.
But it's been a life (well, just one hand) saver.
- Really makes a difference as you're not rotating your wrist as you would when using a conventional mouse.shapesalad
- I'd perhaps get a wireless version next.shapesalad

Just received the Anker mouse 5 minutes ago after placing my order yesterday evening.
My thoughts after only 5 minutes.
• Amazon — 10 bucks for next day delivery. Cool.
• Doesn't feel like a $200 mouse, but it feels better than what other people have said... like the plastic makes it feel a little cheap. Not IMO. Feels as solid or bad as any other mouse under $80.
• Feels a little strange but it's not that bad. Feels like I'm using a joystick or something like that. I'm a little slow using it, but it will def get better over time.
• Shame it is not a bluetooth device.- my first thought on using one was it's like squeezing a boob.shapesalad

https://www.anker.com/store/2.4G…also side buttons dont work on mac, but seems like not a big deal.
- < looks like made in same factory as ^, but different branding.shapesalad

So far, after a few hours with the vertical Anker mouse... definitely feels more comfortable... though getting used to a vertical mouse is awkward initially.

oh, and using a compression glove AND vertical mouse at same time... and occasionally icing my finger. maybe this should all be posted in the signs you're getting older thread.
